Assalam Alaykum. My name is Abdel-Kader Darwich and I am an American Muslim living in Sacramento, California. 

New Muslims (converts) need a lot of help especially in three areas: strengthen their Iman, increase their knowledge and make Muslim friends to better integrate in the community.
This is why two years ago, I completed a crowdfunfing camping called Umrah for Converts and was hamduliah able to raise enough money to send two new Muslims who cannot afford it to Umrah in February 2017. The Umrah trip is more like a bootcamp where new Muslims not only perform Umrah and visit Mecca and Medina but also increase their knowledge through the daily lessons and make lifetime friends during this journey.

With Allah Grace, I am now starting Part II of Umrah of Converts hoping to raise enough money to be able to send two or maybe more converts to Umrah in February of 2019.
