​WHAT WE DO

TISA offers several graduate-level degrees and certificates, along with workshops to benefit the greater Muslim community and train local leadership. Currently we offer Master's degrees in Islamic Studies, Inter-religious Chaplaincy, Religious Leadership, and more!

TISA seeks to educate students in the rich classical tradition of Islam, balanced with groundbreaking contemporary research, giving them the tools to tackle the difficulties of modernity. These Believing Academics bring immense benefit to our evolving communities.

TISA has also held Youth Mental Health First Aid workshops, which equipped local youth leaders, teachers, and parents, with the tools they need to address mental health, addiction, and crisis challenges in their communities.

WHO WE ARE

TISA opened its doors in the Fall of 2019, and since then, with the blessings of Allah, we have experienced amazing growth. Since the beginning of the pandemic, our enrollment has grown by 87%!

We want to expand this institution so even more students and community leaders can benefit from our world-class instructors teaching state of the art classes and workshops. We can't do this on our own, and we’ve enlisted the support of some of our partners...but we need YOUR help!

TISA aims to never turn a student away due to financial difficulty. As a result, half of our current student population is receiving financial aid, with an average award of $1,400 per semester.
